Blueprint: walking as mapping between the real and virtual city

Blueprint is a digital artwork which invites walkers to trace a map on the streets of Yekaterinburg with their body, made by two artists working together despite being 2,400 miles apart. While wandering through city streets to take part in an artwork seems a distant luxury, the concept of a map that mixes the physical and virtual worlds and the idea of making art by remote working has taken on a fresh relevance.
